Activate AudioBottle

Activation is key-only. Your license key — it starts with AUDIOBOTTLE- — is all you need. No email address, no account.

Steps

  1. Open AudioBottle.
  2. Choose AudioBottle → License… in the menu bar. (The same activation panel also appears in the first-launch setup.)
  3. Paste your license key into the serial field. Paste rather than retype — the key is long, and a single missing character is rejected.
  4. Click Activate. Activation takes a few seconds and needs an internet connection for this one step.

Once the panel shows Activated, you are done. Archiving and restoring both work offline from then on.

Where is my key?

Your key was shown at checkout and sent to you in the purchase confirmation from our merchant of record. Search your inbox for AUDIOBOTTLE- if you can't find it.

Troubleshooting

"That serial number wasn't recognized"

The key is incomplete or mistyped. Copy the full key — everything from AUDIOBOTTLE- to the end — and paste it again. Stray spaces and line breaks are removed automatically.

"Already active on the maximum number of machines"

Your license is in use on its maximum number of Macs. Open AudioBottle → License… on one of the other machines and deactivate it there, then activate this one.

"Couldn't reach the licensing server"

Activation is the only step that needs the network. Check your connection and try again — or continue without activating and retry later. Restoring is always free and never requires activation.
